Tip Leads To The Arrest Of Sex Offender

Investigators with the Lawrenceburg Police 
Department's Domestic Violence/Child Abuse Division arrested a 35 year old Wayne County
native for violating Tennessee's sex offender registry law.
A tip was called in to investigators that a Steven Duane Gambrell, was residing with children at a Lawrenceburg resident.
Investigators learned that Gambrell currently reports and shows a Wayne County Tennessee address.
Contact was made with Gambrell at a Lawrenceburg residence. Gambrell was arrested and booked into the Lawrence County jail on one count of Violation Sex Offender Registry, with a current bond of $5,000.
He is scheduled to appear in Lawrence County General Sessions Court on April 5th, at 9:00 a.m.
